Chessington, October 29th 2020. Enhancing the open communication strategy from its ITSM and MSP service desk software, Sunrise Software has released a standard integration with Microsoft Power BI and added interfaces with MS Teams and Jira via REST API.
Power BI reporting assists tactical and strategic decision making for Service Desk management and the wider organisation, when Sunrise ITSM metrics are viewed and examined further in the analytics tool. A standard integration is available, with a large number of pre-configured charts and graphs to choose from, in addition to the many configurable views within Power BI.

Extending use of the REST API from Sunrise, Service Desk teams can now interface directly with MS Teams, updating status communications on raised issues and alerting users to changes in services.
